That's a pretty disturbing thought.
The thought that God didn't create us perfectly is pretty nerve-wracking. Why didn't He made us as perfect as He is in the first place? What's the reason? First and foremost, God's intelligence and His works are beyond comprehension. Though science is able to give us some answers, there are still many things that remains a mystery and are so mysterious, it baffles eveb science. We may not know the real reason why He used earthen, corruptible vessels to carry out His purposes but through experience, I am able to name a few reasons:
->First, God wants us to fully depend on Him. If we are as perfect as He is, then we have no need of God. And since God gave us free will, it's pretty obvious that with our perfections, we will start rebelling with our Creator. As for the issue of seeing us suffer, the Bible stated that God is a God of mercy. And in Genesis, the root of all sufferings came about when Adam and Eve ate the forbidden fruit. Before the couple disobeyed God, they had a great relationship with God. Another thing, God is not the cause of illnesses; it is the devil's creation. He only allows it to test our faith. This fact is proveb in the book of Job, where Satan told God that if Job suffered great tribulations, Job will stop worshipping God. But Job was steadfast in his faith and God saved him from his plight.
->Second, God wants to tell all the people in the world that all the pleasures in the world is nothing compared to God's glory. Afterall, His will is to make us happy. If God made all things perfect then we would not realize it.
->ANd last but certainly not the least, God wants to have a mutual relationship with the people. Think about it: God's reason for creating us is so that He could express His love-the strongest love of all. Now if we're perfect, then we would not be giving Him the love He deserves.
Well, that's about it. That's not a complete list, but we can be sure that whatever God's reason is, it's certainly a good one.
