dire straits
(a sort of continuation to my previous post)
What is the reason for everything anyway?
Atheistically speaking, can we say that life has any value in the same way we look at it with regards to religion?
We all die. And along with our rotting corpses our dreams, aspirations, and successes disintegrate in the nothingness of death. In analogy, we can say that everything we have worked for our whole life are basically for nothing as we near our inevitable end.
That being said, should it be wise that we use life to simply enjoy the privileges it provides us, instead of toiling for them first?
